At KrugerHelp, your field security is our highest priority. This policy explains how we handle your data to enhance your safari experience while strictly protecting wildlife and fulfilling our 2026 transparency obligations.
1. Data Collection & Cloud Sync
Location Intelligence
When you log a sighting, we request GPS access to provide accurate mapping and distance calculations via the Distance Hub. This data is synchronized with your cloud profile to ensure your logbook remains persistent across devices.
AI Vision & Media
Our Bush AI requires camera access to identify species. Photos are processed to identify flora and fauna and are stored in your private field journal unless you explicitly choose to share them via the Ranger Journal.
2. Community Intelligence Sharing
To enhance the collective safari experience, wildlife sightings (excluding endangered species) are shared with the community via the Live Field Feed under the following ethical safeguards:
- Tactical Embargo: All shared sightings are subject to a time delay (e.g. 30 minutes) to manage park traffic.
- Radius Visibility: Reports are only visible to other users within a specific proximity sector.
- Contributor Privacy: You can opt out of all GPS sharing at any time via the Ranger Settings menu.
- Identification: Only your chosen Display Name is visible alongside shared reports.
3. Advertising Transparency
Google AdSense Protocol
We use Google AdSense to deliver advertisements. Third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites. These ads help fund our real-time intelligence and conservation efforts.

4. Conservation Hardening
Endangered Species Protection
KrugerHelp strictly prohibits the sharing of GPS coordinates for endangered species (e.g. Rhinoceros). Our system automatically sanitizes location data for these sightings before they reach the public radar.
